Frequently asked questions
When should we use geo verification?
Use it when you need proof of presence—on-site camp check-in, rink-side enrollment windows, or fraud reduction for high-demand programs.
What does the program configure?
Organizers set whether geo is required, the venue latitude and longitude, the maximum distance in meters, and an optional message when someone is outside the zone.
What happens if location permission is denied?
The public flow surfaces a clear error so the user can enable location services or contact the organizer—registration does not silently bypass the rule when geo is required.
Is geo required for every program?
No. When geo is not required, sign-up proceeds without a browser location check.
